Bidwell is a peaceful country retreat in the heart of Daylesford, set privately at the back of a leafy garden allotment on a quiet no-through-road that leads down to Lake Daylesford. It is very close to the famous Amazing Mill Markets antiques emporium, and within walking distance of both the Lake and Daylesford’s main street with its shops, restaurants and cafes.

The cottage has a gas heater as well as a wood burner with plenty of firewood supplied. A new split-system air conditioner has also recently been installed. As well as the queen-size bed in the bedroom, there is a double sofa bed in the lounge. Free Wi-Fi is provided, as well as the Netflix and Stan streaming services on the smart TV. Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 10am.
There is a secure fenced garden and pets are also welcome inside the cottage. The long west-facing deck has outdoor seating and a gas barbecue. There is ample on-site parking available. The street address is 29A Fulcher Street, Daylesford 3460.
Our prices start from $169 for Sunday through to Thursday nights, with Friday and Saturday nights starting from $195. Last-minute special offers are also sometimes available one or two days in advance. There is a 10% discount for stays of 7 days or longer (the discount will only be calculated and displayed once you click through to the payment screen, but you will see it before having to commit).
We have a two-night-minimum booking policy, except of course when there is a one-night gap between other bookings in the calendar. If you’d like to book such a one-night gap, please contact us directly to book it, as this website can unfortunately not process one-night bookings.
