The house exceeded our expectations from the pictures. The master bedroom had a great ensuite. The beds were really comfy with nice linen, amazing artwork throughout and the kitchen with its pressed metal was stunning. Despite the rain, the gardens were stunning and we just loved it. - 30 Jun 2026

We really enjoyed our couple of nights away, the cottage has lots of great furnishings and is cosy and warm with the underfloor heating and indoor fireplace. The bed was super comfortable and we appreciated the electric blankets during the cold nights. The kitchen had everything you needed and a lovely view out to the hills. Our Dogs loved the big garden to run around and explore. Anthony and Andrew were excellent hosts, thanks for an enjoyable stay. - 01 Jun 2026

We had a delightful stay with Anthony and Andrew. The house had everything we needed and the 3 bedrooms means we can return and bring some of our family. We loved the thought given to decorating the house, especially the division of the different rooms into themes. We had a good deal of fun trying to interpret the old maps in the lounge with 21st C eyes. It was great to arrive with the ducted heating on and the fire already set. Morning sun through the kitchen window was a nice surprise. It was so good to arrive at a property (and we have stayed in many here and overseas), with matching cutlery and crockery. The beds were comfortable and the bed linen exemplary. although on the main road, there was no traffic noise. We fully intend to return and having stayed in Daylesford a number of times, wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. Well done gentlemen. Paul and Robin. - 22 May 2026
