Elroma, Hepburn Springs

Elroma is a striking double-fronted 1910 Federation-style house with elevated views of Hepburn Regional Park. It has undergone comprehensive improvements and upgrades by its current owners, Anthony and Andrew, while it was their home from 2018 to 2022. The house sleeps a maximum of four guests, with a queen-size bed in each of the two bedrooms.

About Elroma

With soaring ceilings throughout, Elroma has a grand yet welcoming feeling as soon as you enter the hallway. Straight ahead down the corridor you can see out through the huge kitchen window across to the forested slopes of Hepburn Regional Park.

To the left, the large lounge and dining room features the original stained glass in the bay window and a convenient inset woodburner with carved Art Nouveau surround. (About 15kg of firewood is supplied.) To the right is the first bedroom (with en suite and spacious shower, and a queen-size bed), which also benefits from original stained-glass windows. The second bedroom also has a queen-size bed. Both bedrooms have ample built-in wardrobe space with sliding mirrored doors.

Further down the corridor is the bright family bathroom, with a large two-person spa bath under the generous skylight and a compact shower. To the rear, the modern kitchen features entrancing views out of its floor-to-ceiling picture window.

French doors lead out of the kitchen to the large rear balcony deck, again with sweeping views over the forests and valley of Spring Creek in Hepburn Regional Park. Steps lead down from the deck to the private and secure rear garden.

The house benefits from a very effective modern ducted underfloor air conditioning system.

Guests have access to all parts of the house and garden, except the locked cleaner’s storeroom and the outbuildings/shed.

Other things to note

Pets are very welcome at Elroma, including inside the house. The large rear garden is securely fenced. We ask that dogs do not go on sofas or beds; if you can’t prevent this, please bring along your own blankets/throws to protect our furnishings.

There is offstreet parking for two cars in the driveway. The street address is 45 Main Road, Hepburn Springs 3461.

Our standard nightly rates are $299 for Sunday through to Thursday nights, and $429 for Friday and Saturday nights. Public holidays/long weekends and the December peak season might have different pricing. We have a two-night-minimum booking policy, except of course when there is a one-night gap between other bookings in the calendar, and different pricing will apply for one-night bookings.
